best way to setup FTP

hello,
whats the best way to set up an FTP connection to get user .dat information
on windows server 2012+plesk
so that player list can be loaded into the shop

is the FTP settings even valid?

ftp://test:testpassword@domain:21/players/host.dat

when I connect remotely using the internet (ftp:(ip):21/players/

i think it does work when a char is created or can u place a host.dat in there so i can see if it loads?

ok got it to work with how u have it set up...
then the info needs to be changed on the shop because it is not correct (with add port)
this is correct --> ftp://username:pass@164.132.99.245/

2 issues
FTP password cannot contain any codes like #-_!)(&^
or it will just tell no access
also inventory shows empty after logout? is there a wait time?

its uploaded and has items in the inventory, i can load the profile's just dont see any content on new users i see some on old profile's just the items in the inventory are not correct need screens?

yeah I have it on some working I see that one too but when I create new data file after deleting old the inventory is not shown, sometimes it shows for some accounts not all..... also this cannot be the issue right?

The files you download have the privileges of another user. Use the user's www-data to upload files.
