install error on hosting with php7

hey

i removed the old version to make sure i dont have any conflicts with the older version
so i installed v1.8 but after i enter database info i get this error

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\website\httpdocs\install\index.php:96 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\website\httpdocs\install\index.php on line 96

CONFIRMED: this has to do with the version php7 the new version which no longer has support for the old mysql extension,will cms we supported soon for php7? if not i will have to downgrade my php

extension=php_mysql.dll

i added that and then added the file into the ext and reloaded the whole server
and still same problem…

Not support PHP 7.
